 Welcome Guests!

Welcome to Friendly Benwood Community Christian Youth CampWelcome to the Friendly Benwood Community Christian Youth Camp. We invite you to come visit our campground if you are looking for a location for your church retreat, summer youth camp, couple's retreat or any Christian based gathering. Our campground offers a quiet, rural, and wooded setting that is perfect for a quiet, private conversation with God or a spirited game of softball with a group of active teenagers.

While all of our planned buildings and facilities are not yet completed, we are open for a limited number of events and activities. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact us through our email or give our caretaker a call. God has truly blessed this campground through the planning and early construction phases. We would be pleased and blessed to share that blessing with you.

Red Bull Indianapolis GP Cleanup & Brazil Popcorn Festival Beans & Taters Tent Scheduled
Posted August 20, 2008
The campground was blessed with the donation of commercial kitchen equipment donated by a caterer in Cincinnati who went out of business.  Two trucks and trailer and six men traveled over on August 16 to pick up the equipment and bring it to the campground.  God is truly blessing the campground as we get ready to build the dining hall.  We have had most of the equipment we will need for the kitchen donated over the years.

Dining Hall update:  We have signed the contract with the company to build the dining hall and are waiting on them to schedule construction.  The site preparation should begin at any time and the building should be up by early fall.  Again, God is blessing the campground.
