Welcome to Friendly Benwood Community Christian Youth CampWelcome to the Friendly Benwood Community Christian Youth Camp. We invite you to come visit our campground if you are looking for a location for your church retreat, summer youth camp, couple's retreat or any Christian based gathering. While all of our planned buildings and facilities are not yet completed, we are open for a limited number of events and activities. Thank You
Posted June 9, 2009
The campground board would like to thank everyone who went over to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to work the various days during the month of May.  All the funds will be used on the new dining hall building.  A special thanks to everyone who went on Monday, May 27th and picked up trash in the rain.  We had a lot of help and the job was done in 2 hours.

A special thanks for all the help we have been receiving from the House of Hope in Brazil.  They have helped us pick up trash, clean up at the campground, and move items needed for the campground.  Thanks again and God Bless You.

We have been able to purchase at a very reduced rate some heavy bunks and chests of drawers for the cabins.  Thanks to Bob DeCamp for arranging the purchase and thanks to the folks who hauled them to the campground and did the heavy work of moving them.

Work continues on the Dining Hall with emphasis on making it usable with some temporary water, electricity and lights.  We welcome you to stop by and have a look if you are in the area.
